Warehouse Supervisor - Hire Goods Out
The purpose of this role is to be a pivotal part of the Warehouse Management Team and to oversee the ‘Hire Goods Out’ Team, whilst working hand in hand with the Warehouse Manager.
The role will provide invaluable support to ensure that the operation delivers exceptional service to its customers, ensuring output meets the requirements of the business.
The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment. In addition, the role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training / support will be given.

Your day will look like:
- Manage the Goods Out team to ensure all departing jobs are completed and ready to load in a timely fashion.
- Ensure final QC check of departing equipment is conducted.
- Liaise with discipline managers to ensure job prep will be completed within the required timeframes.
- Ensure all assets are scanned out to the correct job and report any items missing from the workorders to the warehouse management.
- Plan, monitor and communicate all load out times to the wider warehouse team.
- Ensure any shipping anomalies are reported to management immediately.
- Liaise with other Solotech warehouses/goods in on receiving stock and movement between sites.
- Work with other members of staff to manage movements and logistics for the wider warehouse team.
- Manage personnel of the Warehouse Hire Goods In team, including reviews, holiday’s, absences, sickness and punctuality, working in liaison with the HR team.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
- Maintain warehouse, yard and department tidiness.
- Any other reasonable ad hoc requests as required by your manager.
Essential skills / experience:
- At least 3 years experience of working within a similar role .
- Good administration skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, ability to use a database software.
- Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
Advantageous, but not essential:
- Pro audio industry knowledge / interest
Level of education:
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
