Programme Operations Manager (Role for a Digital Learning Specialist in EdTech)

FourthRev is looking for an experienced, impact-driven Programme Operations Manager to join our high-performing operations team. Based within the Product Team, you will play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of our digital learning products - from strategy and curriculum co-creation to pedagogic design, development and quality assurance.
This role is ideal for someone confident in managing stakeholders, both internally and externally,, and ensuring products are delivered to the highest standard.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates in both the UK and South Africa.
Your Mission
You will work closely with the Chief Learning Officer and Senior Projects Manager to oversee the development and continuous improvement of world-class educational programmes. These programmes are designed to help learners thrive in the digital economy and are co-created with top universities, subject matter experts, and industry leaders.You will help shape our products to meet real-world needs and ensure a consistent careers-first experience across everything we build.
What You'll Do
Programme Development- Collaborate with the Product Development and Product Operations teams to guide product strategy using learner insights, industry trends, and technological advancements.
- As we expand our portfolio, lead and support new projects involving curriculum co-creation with universities and industry experts to deliver exceptional learner and business outcomes.
- Manage and support a team of subject matter experts, or external contributors for curriculum design, content creation, and research.
- Support product roadmap development by reviewing and reporting on programme KPIs.
- Drive process improvements across the product lifecycle from concept to continuous improvement.
- Oversee relevant internal teams as well as manage the relationships with external suppliers for key projects driving high quality product development. You will manage the improvements within given project timelines and budgets
- Act as a liaison point for stakeholder briefings, problem-solving sessions, and innovation meetings as needed.
- Partner with and line manage, as needed, wider teams to ensure all learning materials meet quality standards across formats: written, video, graphical, and assessment.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks and final reviews before learner release.
- Oversee the Media resource and line manage, as needed, to support capacity planning and prioritisation across new course development, continuous improvement, and marketing assets.
- Support the coordination of video asset creation by managing logistics and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the wider product team to align plans, priorities, and sprint execution.
- Support decision making and priority planning for team members to ensure collective, pan portfolio, deadlines are met.
- Represent members of the Product Development and Product Ops management team at internal and external meetings as appropriate.
Requirements
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's or master’s degree (preferred fields: education, digital technology).
- Strong experience in online education, instructional design, and digital pedagogy.
- Experience in similar edtech environments in shipping high quality products in fast paced commercial settings
- Demonstrated success in designing blended and virtual learning experiences.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodology and user-centred design.
- Proven stakeholder management experience with senior partners and stakeholders
- Experience of managing external suppliers
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Experience working with international and remote teams.
