Job Description

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Provide insights into financial performance and recommend actions for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget adherence and investigate variances
• Analyze production and operational costs to identify areas of efficiency and waste reduction.
• Support pricing strategies through cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand financial impacts and support decision-making.
• Liaise with external auditors and support compliance with financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A strong aptitude for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
• Qualifications in Accountancy or related fields.
• A strong attention to detail, with an ability to plan and organise effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• An attractive salary range of £35,500 to £40,500 per annum, depending on skills and qualifications.
