QC Engineer

Responsibilities:
As a QC Engineer, you will:
- Review production documentation, including drawings and datasheets, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Oversee the non-conformance and change management processes throughout the production cycle.
- Monitor build processes and inspect components, assemblies, and complete packages using Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP).
- Support instrumentation and equipment calibration activities.
- Complete inspections and assessments, documenting non-conformance clearly.
- Utilise Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment for machine shop inspections.
- Conduct quality checks on painted components and assess welded components using visual and basic measuring techniques.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production documentation and inspection processes.
- Proficient in mechanical measurement techniques and quality assessment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformance.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Familiarity with Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment.
- Experience in supporting calibration activities.
- Background in engineering or a related field.
- ISO or other relevant quality standards certification.
