Your new role
The temporary Surfacing Supervisor/Contracts Manager will be responsible for strategically planning and coordinating surfacing activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications. They will efficiently allocate and manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.Additionally, they will foster and maintain robust relationships with clients and contractors, enhancing the company’s professional standing. Mentoring and guiding the team to emphasise quality and efficiency to meet project goals will also be a key part of the role.
This position requires flexibility with shift patterns, including dayshift, nightshift, and some weekends.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- Proven experience in the surfacing industry.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Essential qualifications: a valid CSCS card and a driving license.
