Finance Officer

We are currently working with a Multi-Academy Trust who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join their centralised finance team. This role is on an ongoing temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the CFO with resources and business functions.
• Administer all aspects of finance and reporting to the Finance and Audit Committee and Board of Trustees.
• Manage operational financial tasks for schools.
• Ensure financial transactions are up-to-date for accurate budget monitoring.
• Oversee ordering, receipt of goods, and authorisation of payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate income collection and banking.
• Input accounting data with speed and accuracy.
• Produce financial statements, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
