Are you a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant located in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals who need personalised support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.

We're thrilled to be working with an exceptional Mainstream Primary School near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire who are looking for a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to support a learner in KS1.

Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.
Salary: £83-£90 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)

Start Date: September 2024

1 to 1 Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
  • Implement and follow care plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in achieving their educational goals.
  • Address both the emotional and educational needs of students.
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure individualised learning and emotional support.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Would be working with KS1.
1 to 1 Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with SEN is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with school staff, parents, and carers.
  • Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are beneficial.
  • Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30.
  • Must be able to commute to Cambourne.
  • Right to work full time in the UK is essential.
