The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead efforts to design and implement robust operational processes and systems for SMART water meters. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll bridge the gap between commercial, operational, and IT departments, ensuring seamless delivery and transformation of SMART water meter projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and define water business processes, customer journeys, and third-party interfaces.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder engagements to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Create and manage project documentation, including operational delivery materials.
- Drive user acceptance testing and oversee smooth transitions from projects to BAU.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
- Mentor and manage the water project team, fostering growth and excellence.
What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications and Experience:- Degree or relevant professional qualification in business analysis.
- 5+ years in a business analysis role, leading complex projects/programmes.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and collaboration with third parties.
- Strong skills in business process modelling, data analysis, and database interrogation tools.
- Ability to deliver business solutions balancing time, cost, and quality.
- Background in energy, metering, or water industries.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
- Familiarity with data security and confidentiality practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
