Ampergia Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR & Industrial Relations Officer to support our human resources functions and manage employee relations. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing organizational performance through effective HR strategies.

  1. Employee Relations:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment rights.
  • Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes in accordance with company policy and UK employment law.
  • Promote effective communication between management and employees to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Support the implementation of performance management systems, including regular appraisals and development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and employee development strategies.
  1. Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and assist in the development of employee training programs.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions related to HR policies, compliance, and employee development.
  1. Reporting and Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  1. Industrial Relations:
  • Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives to foster positive industrial relations.
  • Assist in negotiations related to pay, working conditions, and other employment terms.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
  • Relevant HR qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an HR
