Ampergia Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR & Industrial Relations Officer to support our human resources functions and manage employee relations. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing organizational performance through effective HR strategies.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment rights.
- Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes in accordance with company policy and UK employment law.
- Promote effective communication between management and employees to maintain a harmonious working environment.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of performance management systems, including regular appraisals and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and employee development strategies.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in the development of employee training programs.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions related to HR policies, compliance, and employee development.
- Reporting and Data Management:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Industrial Relations:
- Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives to foster positive industrial relations.
- Assist in negotiations related to pay, working conditions, and other employment terms.
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
- Relevant HR qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an HR
- Familiarity with HR software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
