Role Summary
A high growth pioneering consultancy working across the UK dedicated to enhancing nature and biodiversity are looking to hire an Assistant Ecologist to join their fantastic team
Based remotely in the South East
As an assistant Ecologist you will have the opportunity to be part of something special to help scale the company as well as develop your own sector specialisms in a progressive and supportive environment
You will work on complex high-profile and exciting projects with nationally significant businesses within the construction retail infrastructure sectors as well as supporting the third sector with real and lasting environmentally positive change
You will also - Undertake protected species surveys- Produce technical reports with training (PEA and PRA reports BNG reports protected species reports etc )
- Managing small-medium sized projects with support from senior management
- A degree in ecology or similar based subject and working understanding of relevant legislation planning policies and licensing regulations
- Full UK drivers licence and use of your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
- Good communication skills specifically written English and report writing skills assimilating ecological data and presenting relevant information well
- Energetic and willingness to undertake practical work and office based work
