A supportive and inclusive Secondary School based in the Borough of Croydon are seeking a Maths Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional support and teaching team. This Maths Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with the Maths Department and providing support to students through KS3, KS4 and KS5.
As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you have the opportunity to gain Teacher Training and will gain valuable school-based experience that will be a great asset to your teaching career. You will gain a fantastic understanding of the school curriculum and different teaching methods.This position will also involve working with young people with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

- Assisting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
- £105 - £110 a day
- Monday - Friday only
- Term-Time role
- Long-Term, Full-Time
- ASAP start
- A graduate with strong academics such as a 1st Class or 2:1
- The desire to become a teacher with a focus on Maths
- A passion for learning and making a positive difference to young people
- Previous experience in a school/working with children
- A good understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
