- 5 hours per week , 5 days out of 7 Monday – Sunday. Shift pattern on a rota 6.30am – 2.30pm or 11.30am - 7.30pm
Downe House is a leading independent boarding and day school for girls based in Cold Ash, Berkshire. We operate an in-house fully catered service for pupils and staff which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. In addition, we hold numerous catered events and formal dinners each year.
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef to become an integral member of our kitchen team, assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.You will have previous experience of working in a similar role catering for large numbers, have a passion for food and an understanding of food hygiene requirements.
Main Duties- Ensure that fresh food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food hygiene and health & safety requirements are carried out.
