Hours: Days, 22 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 07:00-19:00)
The Grove is a well-established part of the community in Waltham and a well-respected care home in the Grimsby area, It provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family-led setting. The dedicated staff led by the Manager understand that everyone is different and take time in getting to know each resident individually, so they can settle into a comforting, enjoyable routine.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLEWithin the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
Helping our residents with personal support and careAiding their emotional well-being and social needs
Supporting residents at meals time
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
Be no stranger to working long shiftsHave good written & verbal communication skills
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essentialHave an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
