Job Description- Conduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by care takers/ external providers on One Manchester's housing stock
- Producing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations
- Pre & Post works sign off
- Ensuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations.
- Providing fire safety advice and training to staff and residents.
- Working closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies.
- Managing fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion.
- Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.
- Contributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures.
- Supporting the wider building safety team.
- Providing Technical Support.
- Engaging with customers.
- Contractor management.
- Relevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications
- Experience working in a similar role for a residential provider
- Thorough understanding of fire safety within social housing
- Management of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills
- A competitive salary of up to £46,000
- 35 hrs/wk
- 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
