Job Description
The Professional Negligence Solicitor will deal with a range of work and responsibilities including;- Managing a varied caseload of professional negligence claims.
- Acting for well known Insurer clients and defending a range of professionals including solicitors, accountants and brokers.
- Dealing with pre litigation and litigated claims.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Working closely with Partners on complex claims.
- Supporting junior team members.
- Contributing to business development initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Professional Negligence Solicitor should have:
- Demonstrable experience in handling professional negligence cases.
- Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
- Likely to have between 4-10 years PQE.
- Ties to Leeds.
- Ability to manage a complex and varied caseload efficiently.
- A salary range of £65,00 - £75000 per year.
- Generous holiday allowance of 25 days per year.
- Pension scheme with 5% employer contribution.
