Warehouse Operative

Job could be physically demanding.

Afternoon shift pay rate: £12.70

• Responsible for the accurate stock movement in and out of the warehouse, including manual stock movement across the warehouse.
• Lifting and putting away boxes across a large warehouse area.
• Collecting items from throughout, the warehouse preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedules.
• Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.
• Keeping your work area and the warehouse clean and tidy.
• Stocking counting and location checks.

• An organised and methodical approach to work.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job – including being able to walk, stand, bend and lift for long periods of time.
• Literacy & Numeracy
• Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
• Able to work independently and as part of a large, diverse team – team player.
• Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.
• A good level of spoken English language.
