Actual Salary £10,750 - £11,828 (for 17 hours a week)

FTE £26,918 - £29,616

Working Hours – 17 hours a week, minimum

We are seeking to appoint a well organised, skilled and professional person, preferably with your ELSA qualification already undertaken, to support students within the School and Sixth Form. If you are passionate about young people, enjoy variety in your role and thrive on working in a busy but calm environment this is a great opportunity for you.

The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, relate well to young people and possess exceptional listening and nurturing skills.

Working as part of a team, within our Welfare provision, you will deliver one of our critical therapeutic interventions and provide our students with a crucial service.

Responsibilities:

  • To work under the direction of the Welfare Lead.
  • To deliver ELSA sessions to agreed students on a timetable
  • To undertake supervision and support to deliver the role
  • To maintain safeguarding responsibilities
  • To create a positive atmosphere and professional impression that reflects our core values and ethos
