An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Partnerships and Community Engagement team. The team works to improve opportunities for Hertsmere residents, supporting the community and community groups to access services that will benefit them, help to give residents a voice and engage with those who find it more difficult to access council and community services.

This new role will provide support to the Community Engagement Team and the wider Partnerships and Community Engagement Unit, support the delivery of initiatives and events, and provide project support for activities which contribute to the delivery of priorities of the Community Engagement Team.

The role will also provide administrative support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Council.

The successful candidate will be well organised with a focus on customer service and a drive to improve opportunities for Hertsmere residents. They will be able to adapt to demands and prioritise their workload and will have the ability to work rapidly and accurately whilst following council and civic protocols.

They will be able to communicate effectively with other professionals, elected members, senior managers within the council and the general public.

The post is offered on a full time, permanent basis (36 hours per week).

The Council operates a hybrid working system where employees may work two days per week from home.
