Administrative Assistant: Sixth Form and Celebrating Success
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Administrative Assistant to ensure that student achievements are celebrated across the school and beyond, including through the school’s website, social media channels, school publications, the annual Celebration Evening and local media.The successful candidate will also support aspects of Sixth Form administration, such as recruitment and admissions, attendance and student work experience placements, as well as forming part of our wider School Office team.
The successful candidate will have:
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft products such as Word/Excel/Publisher
- Ability to work with initiative, manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks/projects on time
- Ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with colleagues, students, parents/carers, Governors, community representatives and other agencies working with the school
