Specialist Finance Analyst

Role: Specialist Finance AnalystJob Ref: QAD 1944/2009
Pay Rate: £16.96 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 hours per week
Contract Length: Anticipated 6 months
Location: St Ives
Provide accurate divisional financial information and advice to a range of budget-holders, enabling robust financial control and optimal decision making.
Key accountabilities:
Ability to manage own workloadGood knowledge of MS word including formatting, tracking changes, inserting objects
Very good working knowledge of Excel including ability to create/design new financial spreadsheets, using common excel functions (e.g. formatting, pivot tables, data filters, count, concatenate, sum, sumif, and vlookup)
Good analytical skills and ability to analyse and interpret data
Very good standards of numerical, written and oral communication
Ability to communicate complex financial issues to non financial personal
Key requirements:
Qualifications and Training;GCSE or equivalent/higher standard in English and Maths
CCAB/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience commensurate with role
Evidence of compliance with institute CPD requirements
Experience;Experience of working in a finance team
Experience of working with financial systems and processes
Demonstrate experience in the analysis and assessment of financial and nonfinancial data
