Supply Teaching Assistant
This role can be temporary, temp-to-perm, or permanent offering excellent benefits and a salary of £21,000.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to pupils, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
You will be responsible for:
Encouraging pupil participation in lessons and extracurricular activities.Implementing effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policy.
Organising and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment.
Observing and reporting on pupil progress to relevant staff.
Using ICT to support and advance pupil learning.
What we are looking for:
Previously worked as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant or in a similar role.Experience in a school or similar educational setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
GCSE or equivalent qualifications, with at least a Grade C in English and Maths.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
