Business Applications Support Analyst

Location: Park Royal, London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)

Are you passionate about application support and systems integration? We are looking for a proactive Business Applications Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at our Park Royal headquarters. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our business-critical systems.

About the Role:

You will be the lead support specialist for our MS Dynamics Navision 2015 ERP system and various integrated platforms, acting as a key point of expertise across the business. You'll provide troubleshooting support, manage system performance, drive system enhancements, and collaborate closely with our digital, EDI, and business solutions teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for existing systems, particularly MS Dynamics NAV and EDI interfaces.
  • Manage user access, system jobs, job queues, and monitor system performance.
  • Own and resolve issues through our Service Desk, ensuring excellent communication with users.
  • Deliver system improvements, bug fixes, and small enhancements.
  • Test and manage application changes, collaborating with partners and internal teams on integrations (including web services and customer portals).
  • Support the documentation and user guidelines for business applications.
  • Provide occasional out-of-hours support as required.

Systems You'll Work With:

  • ERP: MS Dynamics NAV 2015 (Bevica)
  • Integrations: AGR, Paragon, FlexiPOD, Tasklet, Continia, Esker, EDI portals, B2B/B2C websites
  • Infrastructure: VMware, Cisco Networking, HP SAN, WatchGuard Firewalls, Windows/Mac OS endpoints

About You: We are seeking someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong technical background with experience in ERP systems, EDI, system performance monitoring, and data integration.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with system/application testing and UAT.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage across all levels of the business.

Desirable:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or similar.
  • Experience with Web Services, user training, contact centers/VoIP, and PCI Compliance.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycles or System Analysis methodologies.
