Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Advanced Practitioner to join their Support and Protection Team

Responsibilities of this role:

• Lead and manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases
• Provide expert assessment, analysis, and decision-making in high-risk situations
• Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions
• Mentor, supervise, and support Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers
• Model best practice and ensure high standards of statutory social work
• Quality-assure assessments, plans, and reports to court and panels
• Support effective risk management and safety planning for children and families
• Provide reflective supervision and professional guidance to the team
• Support practice development and continuous improvement within the service
• Ensure practice complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and local procedures

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
