About the Programme: Our Graduate Teaching Programme offers a structured pathway into teaching, providing hands-on experience in a secondary school environment. You'll have the opportunity to work as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant, supporting students across various subjects and year groups.The programme is designed to prepare you for teacher training, with potential progression to a PGCE or School Direct programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering lessons.
- Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task.
- Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning and development.
- Gaining valuable experience in managing behaviour and understanding different teaching styles.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to the school's overall learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) with a degree in any subject.
