Occupational Therapist - Social Care
Eden Brown Synergy have a vacancy available in Manchester for an Occupational Therapist who has experience in moving and handling.
This vacancy is for an Occupational Therapist to work within social care and is part of the Moving and Handling Optimisation Team. The focus of the team is to ensure a person is receiving the optimal level of care.
The OT will have a good understanding of:
- Moving and handling
- Equipment
- Adaptations
- Assistive technology
The Occupational Therapist will be working as part of an MDT team with Physiotherapists, OTs, Social Workers and Assessment Officers.
Applicants will need to have experience of moving and handling including undertaking risk assessments, providing training to carers and equipment (e.g. hoists, slings, stand aids). Experience in single handed care is desirable.
A car driver is required as this position covers the community city wide.
