Adult Speech & Language Therapy Lead

Physical EffortThere is a requirement for;o Sitting, standing, and walking during every working day.o Repetitive movements on a regular basis.o Pushing/pulling of wheelchairs or transfer equipment as required.o Moving and handling of equipment daily.o Driving between patient visits Mental EffortThere is a requirement to carry out assessments, perform documentation and provide reports on a daily basis.It is expected that the post holder may be interrupted by carers/family/patient whilst carrying out assessment.It is expected that whilst in the office there may be interruptions from colleagues.There will be a requirement to be able to;o Check documents.o Analysing statistics or carrying out calculations.o Carry out assessments and complete documentation.o Maintain contemporaneous patient recordso Preparing reports/letters.o Carrying out non-clinical fault finding.
