Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students in various subjects
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in Education or related field
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and assessment methods
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a secondary school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. Occasional participation in school events and meetings may be required.
