Joining our experienced IT team, you’ll provide remote and desktop support to over 1300 users of network, software and hardware related services.
You'll move far beyond a typical analyst role, supporting a diverse range of users — from traditional corporate teams to gardeners, curators, and conservators. With such a breadth of applications, devices, and systems to work with, no two days will be the same.
Working across historic buildings and multiple sites, you'll encounter unique challenges that you simply won't find in an ordinary office environment.
Whether it’s supporting the audio
Support hours run from 08:00 – 18:00 (Monday to Friday) and 09:00-15:00 (weekends).
A Rota system is in place for early/late shifts during the week and a separate rota for weekend working (you will be required to work 1 out 8 weekends).

Whether it’s supporting the audio
- visual set up and delivery front of house events or finding creative solutions for technical office setups in listed spaces, you’ll need to think innovatively and adapt quickly.
- As the first point of contact for a vast range of tasks, you'll support the wider team and work to resolve issues quickly and to a high standard, learning from those around you.
- The volume and scope of tasks will be wide-ranging, and you'll decide how to best handle each one, either investigating and resolving it yourself, or escalating and seeking further technical support to assist resolution.
- Although your starting point will be to provide best practice service desk & deskside support, as you gain experience and develop your skills, you'll be encouraged to engage in other projects
- whether it be staging events, installing hardware and software additions, or building & configuring portable devices.
- To diagnose, log, action and follow through to resolution all incidents and service requests, whilst keeping the customer informed of progress.
- Configure applications and systems, as well as maintaining an asset database As a key part of this team, you'll have a range of opportunities to develop your own skills with scope to make a positive impact on the day to day running of the organisation.
Your primary place of work will be Buckingham Palace, with regular travel both within central London and occasional throughout the UK.
