Senior Chef De Partie - Derby

A beautiful establishment nestled in the heart of the retirement village, offering a range of facilities and services not usually found in a care home
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent
As the Senior Chef your key duties include:
Catering to residents across the Village which comprises of a Restaurant, Club House Cafe, Care Home and SpaPrepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
Be aware of residents, villagers and Wellness Spa clients’ dietary needs - responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu
Be involved in the preparation and serving of the meals on the hotplate, as required
Ensuring that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable high risk goods
Ensuring a welcoming, safe and compliant environment for our residents to dine in
Helping to maintain a clean and hygienic working area
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirementsAn understanding of health and safety procedures
Have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking
Adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service
The successful Senior Chef will receive an excellent salary of £13.30 per hour and the annual salary is £27,664 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
