Hours: 43 hours per week, working 1 in 4 weekends and on call 1 in 4 weekends

- Work on a large range of industrial boilers, combustion equipment and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines.
- Planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair and some minor installation works.
- Training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicants must be willing to multi-skill as necessary.
- You will have proven electrical fault finding skills and electrical qualifications - you must hold HNC electrical engineering or ONC electrical engineering qualification.
- A full drivers licence
- Combined Heat & Power experience would be beneficial, and a gas safe qualification would be advantageous, as would COSHH awareness and IOSH core.
- Steam boiler plant experience and gas and oil combustion experience is also desirable.
