Reliability Engineer
Are you experienced in manufacturing maintenance and looking to develop your career in reliability area?
As a Reliability Engineer you will be the key member of the maintenance department ensuring the application of maintenance procedures, methods and best practices. In this role you will investigate incidents, signaling trends using statistical analysis, coordinate the mechanical inspections and develop maintenance concepts for maintenance execution across the department.Working closely with Maintenance Planner using CMMS system on site. You will be responsible for the long term preventative maintenance program, including mechanical & electrical maintenance, and modification work on the factory, from the inspection program or improvement programs as planned by the Maintenance Planner to the required technical standards.
Requirements- Minimum five years of experience in maintenance and reliability role in manufacturing environment.
- Education: HNC or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Root Cause Analysis experience and fault finding knowledge.
- A willingness to embrace change in our drive for continued improvements.
- Design and participate in critical equipment inspections.
- Analyze critical equipment damage and evaluate repair alternatives.
- Use risk-based decision making.
- Ensure good working conditions and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Carry out analysis of critical plant assets and ensure suitable inspection procedures are in place
- Improve and update the preventive maintenance program (with attention to inspection and lubrication programs), ensuring a quality service through implementation and completion.
- Close coordination/communication with other departments in order to facilitate improvements with inspections, condition monitoring and improvement projects.
- Take leading role in the implementation and utilization of Root Cause Analyses Techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of the budget (on-going and major operations) and assist with Improvement and CAPEX tasks, developing the relevant financial, health, safety and environmental requirements based on reliability information on the plant assets.
- Work alongside Maintenance supervisor with the preparation of major shutdowns to ensure timely execution of maintenance and inspection work.
- With Maintenance Planner, assists in preparing list of tools, materials and equipment for the execution of preventive maintenance.
- Responsible in training subordinates, according to the gap analysis.
- Monitor the mechanical installation, repair and maintenance works, ensures that the jobs are carried out in accordance with established company procedures and standards.
- Prepares and submits the necessary reports as required by the Maintenance Manager.
