Breast Senior Clinical Fellow

This a full time post specialising in breast disease diagnosis and management. It involves seeing new patients in a breast one stop clinic and discussing cases at the MDT meeting, assisting in theatre, taking care of breast inpatients and assessing and treating breast emergencies.
The post will be based at Poole hospital but as University Hospitals transformation plans progress you may need to cover the Royal Bournemouth site occasionally. This means you will need to be flexible when it comes to cross site working. This post will have a supervised training element to allow you to progress your skills.
There is no on-call associated with this post. Working hours will be between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. The timetable will be fluid as the post will have some fixed sessions but also be used to back fill leave and to allow training sessions.

It is likely you will do 2 fast track clinics, 1 breast follow up clinic and assist in theatre most afternoons. The post holder will work with a team of 7 experienced Consultant Surgeons supported by a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
