An overview of the role:

As a Intelligent Process and Performance (IPP) Director, you are at the forefront of digital process and operations transformation. You will have the opportunity to work across sector, whilst having the scope to shape your career towards a specific capability set or sector as you develop within our organisation.

Intelligent Industry and more specifically IPP are often the Apollo’s of Invent. Landing first often gives more of an opportunity to test your abilities in white space and an opportunity to develop your skills in ambiguous territory.

You will be working alongside some of the industries leading process experts, with a wealth of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process design and transformation, Process Mining, and Intelligent Automation technologies. Delivering through a range of difference methodologies such as Agile Scrum and SAFe.

In IPP, you will have the chance to work across a variety of sectors and with a variety of clients. IPP is a growing expertise and building capabilities to tackle the biggest questions in:

  • Automation – With rising costs, cutbacks and specific industries shrinking, automation is a capability that wears many hats, but its mantra is about the now! Enablement of early value, unlocking capacity and insight to further refine transformation goals in wider strategic initiatives.
  • Process Intelligence – Delivering scalable, real world operational improvements through a data centric approach which leverages the power of Process Mining, Task Mining and Analytics; rendering the ability to X-Ray processes and uncover hidden bottlenecks often accelerating traditional discoveries.
  • Process Excellence – Leveraging process and delivery excellence, in combination with broader capabilities supports our clients in their transformation journeys. Whether it be creating new business models, optimising business performance or driving the sustainability agenda.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We’d love to meet someone with:

You will have significant experience in one, if not all, of the three areas outlined above. We are looking for applicants with the following attributes:

  • Experienced senior leader in process transformation/improvement
  • Experience in key sectors such as Aerospace & Defence, Public Sector and Manufacturing are desired.
  • Experience in creation, selling and leading in process mining, automation or large scale process/business transformation projects
  • A strong awareness and/or experience in Intelligent Automation including solution design.
  • The ability to understand business processes and operations and identify improvements to drive operational efficiency.
  • A logical, analytical, and structured thinker with strong relationship management and influencing skills – often influencing senior stakeholder groups.
  • Analysing and presenting complex processes and data in a logical, structured, and compelling manner
  • Managing and delivering in teams to deliver tangible positive outcomes.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2m of consulting revenue.
  • You will have an interest in Automation, Big Data, Data Mining, Process Mining and you seek continuous improvement

We’d be especially interested to meet someone with:

  • Strong experience in process optimisation tools, techniques and approaches and their application, such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Strong experience in Business Analysis techniques
  • Experience in major back office processes i.e. Finance. Procurement
  • Experience of delivering in an Agile / Scaled Agile environment
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP S4, Oracle
  • Experience of tools such as Appian, Power Platforms, UiPath, Celonis, Signavio etc
