KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Manager will be required to contribute to the development and delivery of strategies and operational delivery plans. You will work with the Senior Programme Manager for children and maternity with a focus on managing a variety of commissioning projects.
As part of a wider team, you will monitor and manage commissioned services and outcomes across the health economy reporting on key locality themes and risks to the Greater Manchester Integrated Care. Help implement recovery plans with providers where there are issues with service delivery and performance.
Develop and utilize a knowledge base from a range of commissioning services to ensure delivery of elements of Stockports strategic plans. Respond to complaints, Freedom of Information Act requests and other corporate enquiries and/or investigations as appropriate.
Plan and organize individual work schedule to ensure that activities are effectively prioritized ad completed within agreed timescales to deliver an effective and efficient service. Support the implementation of commissioning plans that incorporate patient and public involvement and measure patient satisfaction.
Use this feedback as a tool in performance and commissioning reviews. Contribute to the development of key performance indicators for the successful assessment of individual and work stream success. Support the Senior Programme Manager to undertake strategic needs assessment and commissioning reviews of services as part of the commissioning cycle to ensure population need is met and services are responsive to need.

Contribute to the development, redesign, and implementation of pathways as a means of securing services that are based on evidence based and quality assurance practices and values and value for money. Support the development and production of service specifications and commissioning plans for specified projects In conjunction with clinical leads and commissioning managers support the development of project plans for implementing change in relevant areas Horizon scan for future priorities and opportunities and ensure that development of appropriate plans and responses to local, Greater Manchester and national priorities.

To support implementation, in partnership with clinical leads, changes to service pathways to maximize quality, efficiency and outcomes. Be responsible for own personal development and to participate in any development programmes which are commissioned by, or on behalf of NHS GM Working alongside the Senior Programme Manager to support procurement processes, Work effectively as part of the Stockport Transformation and Integration Team and the wider Greater Manchester Integrated Care team to undertake duties and responsibilities delegated by senior managers as appropriate.

COMMUNICATION Effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals including executive directors, senior staff from other organizations, senior clinical staff, senior managers, and members of the public. Communicate with stakeholders, including clinicians and provider organisations, through a variety of appropriate channels, maintaining good relationships at all times, on a range of business issues, which might be sensitive or contentious in nature.
Work collaboratively and represent Greater Manchester Integrated Care Stockport with other agencies in particular, GPs, Stockport Foundation Trust, Stockport MBC, NHS, VCSE, independent providers and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership To work with the Communications and Engagement team to develop and deliver co-production processes for the effective involvement and engagement with children, young people and parents.
INFORMATION RESOURCES, ANALYSIS AND DECISION MAKING The post holder will be required to work with Business Intelligence Team to support production, analysis and presentation of information related to commissioning for children, young people, and families.
Support the management of information as required for the commissioning and delivery plans. To work closely with relevant clinical leads in supporting the commissioning areas and projects for children, young people, and families To work closely with local authority colleagues to support the delivery of joint projects across both organisations.

To work effectively and efficiently as part of the commissioning team to ensure effective use of resources to support allocated commissioning areas and projects. To support Senior Programme Manager Children and Maternity (Stockport) in collating data and providing reports for service areas for children, young people, and maternity services, written and verbal to relevant stakeholders and groups Analyse complex information about projects, initiatives, and services to help present these to a wide range of stakeholders.

Nurture key relationships and maintain networks internally and externally. Present project information and issues, explaining complexities to a range of internal and external stakeholders. To liaise with other staff across the organization, particularly commissioning, finance, and business intelligence to ensure delivery of the Greater Manchester Integrated Care and locality plans.
PLANNING & ORGANISATION To support the delivery of the Operational Plan through implementation of the commissioning scheme for children, young people, and families To support the implementation of identified areas of work across the breadth of the commissioning agenda for children, young people and maternity using project management skills to ensure key milestones are met.
To support and assist the delivery of cost improvement programmes (CIP) initiatives. To contribute to relevant policy and strategy discussions providing local knowledge and expertise to influence the decision-making process. Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plans and business objectives of the Greater Manchester Integrated Care.
To support and coordinate the effective delivery of children and young people and maternity services programmes through working closely with other staff and teams within the Greater Manchester Integrated Care and working in integrated teams to achieve the best possible outcomes and to use staff resources most effectively.

To interpret national policies and guidelines associated with the commissioning agenda and make recommendations for consideration by the appropriate committee for implementation.
