About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a primary school pupil in Poole. Your role will focus on supporting the child’s learning, emotional well-being, and social development, enabling them to thrive in a nurturing school environment.This position is ideal for residential care workers or those with similar backgrounds, as many skills are highly transferable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support, focusing on individual needs and adapting to the pupil's learning style.
- Build a trusting and positive relationship with the child to enhance their confidence and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to tailor learning activities.
- Support with social skills, emotional regulation, and behavior management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children, especially in a care or residential setting.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with SEN pupils.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the education field.
