Teaching Assistant – Primary Team
Location: SunderlandPay: £95 – £120 per week (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary team in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across multiple key stages within a primary setting
- Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with the UK Primary Curriculum
- Is flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different year groups
- Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Desirable Experience:
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Phonics experience (highly advantageous)
