Job Description

Technical Business Analyst
  • Increase the branch's ability to rapidly and efficiently deliver applications and services by transforming the branch's digital development environment and technical culture
  • Work with a varied and expanding tech stack, to build and strengthen innovative platforms, using latest best practice and standards. Training and familiarisation of QlikSense to report designer level.
  • Help to implement and continuously enhance software applications including Group-approved AI tech to aid the planning, execution, monitoring, and improvement of our branch processes
  • Liaise with local and Group teams to facilitate the streamlining of workflows, task automation, performance tracking and data analysis. Work on data BI tools to enhance reporting needs across the branch.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable and secure
  • Build a broad understanding of development and banking operations, utilising a current DevOps principles and technologies
  • Advise and follow-up with internal project teams and working groups, in addition to liaising with third-parties and the Group's fintech, throughout development lifecycles
  • Adhere to change and incident management principles, in all environments
  • Rapidly trouble-shoot, follow up on and aid the resolution of development/deployment blockers and queries
  • Submit KPIs for stakeholder and management oversight
  • Develop and assist with the publishing and review of procedures, whether compiling new or enhancing branch initiatives, in co-ordination with other parties concerned
  • Ensure all tasks are achieved in a timely manner, deadlines are met and audit/compliance directives are followed
  • Declare operational risk incidents/event, losses and profits to Head of Transformation and RCCD
  • Adhere to the Group's and local compliance related policies and procedures, including those relating to antibribery and corruption, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML-CFT), whistleblowing, tax evasion, data protection, Code of Conduct, and completing courses/training provided by the

The Successful Applicant

Technical Business Analyst
  • A well organised, calm and flexible attitude
  • Adept in handling multiple tasks efficiently, with effective follow-up and reprioritising skills, as required
  • The ability to bridge functional and technical units
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal knowledge sharing ability
  • Hands-on experience of BI and data visualisation tools.
  • QlikSense designer skills and efficient data modelling an advantage.
  • Knowledge of modern infrastructures and innovation tooling essential, with an interest to build on AI capabilities
  • Experience of latest DevOps culture, practices and tools
  • Experience with Agile Scrum, PowerBI, SQL
