What you'll be doing
Machine Operative - 4 on 4 off 07:00am-19:00pm £13.32 per hour.
As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for setting up the machine for the production lines and ensuring due diligence is followed and have a right first-time approach. As part of your role, you will be ensuring the team are working to their maximum potential as well as ensuring that the machinery is working consistently and correctly. Duties of this role include:
- Operating the machines in line with related safety and quality procedures
- Responsible for monitoring production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency.
- Asses and report anomalies and issues
- Organize workflow on the line to support daily production targets
- Work as part of a team to attain safety & performance KPI's
- Willing to learn several machinery roles to be part of a multi-skilled team
- This role will entail minimum of 10KG lifting.
- Previous experience working in a food factory working as a Machine Operative
- Good level of English & Maths
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ability to work unsupervised.
