I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading e-commerce company in Newry that is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that thrives on data-driven decision-making and cutting-edge technology.
The Role:As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently, enabling valuable business insights.
Key Responsibilities: ✅ Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
✅ Develop and maintain data models and databases.✅ Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
✅ Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
✅ Collaborate with analysts and engineers to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Skills & Experience: ✔ Strong experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
✔ Knowledge of big data technologies Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc..✔ Experience with cloud data solutions AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
✔ Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
✔ Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
