Your Role:

As a Senior Administrator, you will enjoy a varied and dynamic role, liaising with a wide range of people across the university and with external visitors. You will be the go-to person for Health & Safety matters, providing expert advice and guidance. Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and conducting risk assessments and H&S inductions.
Ensuring all staff are up-to-date with mandatory compliance training, such as Fire Safety.
Organising and coordinating facilities projects, including office moves and renovations.
Managing the school’s asset inventory.
Collaborating closely with other Senior Administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the School Office.

Providing line management to the Operations, Facilities, and Health and Safety Administrator.

What We’re Looking For:

We need a flexible, supportive team player who can juggle tight deadlines and prioritize conflicting tasks. You should have experience in establishing new administrative systems and procedures, alongside managing resources. Key skills include:

Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication abilities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
An awareness of Health & Safety principles is advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The post is offered on a fixed term contract ending 30th January 2026. Hours of work are 29 hours per week.
