Shipping Administrator / Sales Order Processing Administrator – LEEDS

PERMANENT

£25,000 per annum, Full Time Monday to Friday

Our client based in Leeds is looking to recruit a Shipping Administrator / Sales Order Processing Administrator for a permanent position.

You will be required to provide administration support, both pre and post shipment, for orders that are shipped to customers within and outside of the UK. Alongside this, you will be trained within the Sales Order Processing department, providing support in busy periods or to cover holidays where required.

Responsibilities:

• Tracking shipments to keep customers informed of progress.

• Scanning and filing export documentation and proof of deliveries.
• Assist with checking and passing off invoices.
• Provide freight quotations.
• Processing simple product sales orders including the relevant additional items.
• Provide order acknowledgements and/or proforma invoices to the customers nominated contact.
• Change delivery dates on order, following parts shortages, customer changes.
• Deal with queries from customers and sales engineers.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous administration background within an office environment is essential
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, both internally and externally.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail.
• Experience within Transport and Logistics is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Experience using MS Office is essential.
• SAP knowledge/experience would be beneficial.

Hours:

8am – 4.30pm Mon to Thurs & 8am – 3.30pm Fri = 39 hours per week.
