NEASUS employs around 70 staff across our Sunderland Vehicle Workshops, Equipment and Hygiene Workshops, as well as our new Blaydon site in Gateshead.

This vacancy attracts a 9% unsociable hours payment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ambulance vehicle movements across the North East to ensure timely maintenance and mechanical repairs.
  • Monitor compliance for the NEAS Fleet, including overseeing MOT checks, tax, and insurance compliance.
  • Work as an integral part of the logistics team while engaging with various departments across NEAS.

  • Ensure The service scheduling of NEASUS fleet is maintained within set time scales
  • Compliance monitoring for NEAS Fleet e.g. MOT checks/ tax and insurance compliance

  • Fleet Fitting & Equipment - Vehicles equipped according to regulatory and clinical best practice to perform a specific care response.

Person specification

Essential

Essential criteria
  • Experience in business administration / reception environment
  • Computer Skills including Microsoft packages
  • Business Administration or similar qualification
Desirable criteria
  • Fleet related work experience
  • Experience of service scheduling
  • Experience of using a fleet system
  • Knowledge of the operation of tail lift systems
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
  • Experience of dealing with customers face to face and on the phone
  • Full manual driving licence to include category C1
