NEASUS employs around 70 staff across our Sunderland Vehicle Workshops, Equipment and Hygiene Workshops, as well as our new Blaydon site in Gateshead.
This vacancy attracts a 9% unsociable hours payment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ambulance vehicle movements across the North East to ensure timely maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Monitor compliance for the NEAS Fleet, including overseeing MOT checks, tax, and insurance compliance.
- Work as an integral part of the logistics team while engaging with various departments across NEAS.

- Ensure The service scheduling of NEASUS fleet is maintained within set time scales
- Compliance monitoring for NEAS Fleet e.g. MOT checks/ tax and insurance compliance

- Fleet Fitting & Equipment - Vehicles equipped according to regulatory and clinical best practice to perform a specific care response.
Person specification
Essential
Essential criteria- Experience in business administration / reception environment
- Computer Skills including Microsoft packages
- Business Administration or similar qualification
- Fleet related work experience
- Experience of service scheduling
- Experience of using a fleet system
- Knowledge of the operation of tail lift systems
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
- Experience of dealing with customers face to face and on the phone
- Full manual driving licence to include category C1
