This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded social housing team as a Junior Conveyancer in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract. The firm is a Top 100 law firm, with several offices throughout the UK.
Other duties include opening files, drafting Transfer/Leases from existing precedents, issuing draft papers to buyer’s solicitors, responding to enquiries, liaising with clients, and completing transactions. To be considered for this role, you will have housing experience within a law firm social housing is preferred but not essential, and a strong work ethic.

Joining the firm, you will work alongside three other conveyancers working on social housing transactions, and with multiple other New Build conveyancers. You will provide a high level of service to clients relating to processing of social housing disposals from instruction through to completion.Other duties include opening files, drafting Transfer/Leases from existing precedents, issuing draft papers to buyer’s solicitors, responding to enquiries, liaising with clients, and completing transactions. To be considered for this role, you will have housing experience within a law firm social housing is preferred but not essential, and a strong work ethic.
Someone who is familiar with various forms of affordable housing ownership would be desirable.
