Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company in their search for a Machine Setter Operator to work in their leading facility in Leicester.
For the successful Machine Setter Operator our client is offering:
- £35,832.60 per annum
- Monday to Friday, Double Days: 6 am - 1:30 pm / 1:20 pm - 8:50 pm
- Permanent role
- Uniform and PPE provided
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays
The role – Machine Setter Operator:
- Working within a fast-paced environment, setting up and operating machinery manufacturing pharmaceutical cartons
- Meeting the planned output for quality and volume
- Take charge of the day-to-day running of the machines
- Operating counting machinery
- Performing general and routine maintenance of the folding machines and equipment
- Crew management
- General housekeeping
- All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard requirements with particular reference to the sites Quality Policy, Policy Manual & relevant Works Instructions
- Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others and working with due regard to the responsibilities detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policy Statement
What our client is looking for in a Machine Setter Operator:
- Previous experience operating and setting folding machines - ESSENTIAL
- Must have an understanding of complex carton manufacturing, such as 4 Corners, Crash Lock Base, Internal Fitments or Double Wall - ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of the HHS Gluing Systems - BENEFICIAL
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- PC knowledge
