Job Description- Lead the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and regular forecasting exercises.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial procedures.
- Manage and mentor the finance team to foster their professional growth.
- Work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial advice.
- Communicate financial information to non-financial managers within the company.
- Drive continuous improvement in the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Manager should :
- Be a fully qualified chartered accountant (CIMA, CIPFA, ACA or ACCA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Have experience of managing a finance team - Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modelling skills are essential.
- Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key insights.
- Have solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and valuation techniques.
- A competitive salary up to £60,000 per year
