We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school in central Birmingham. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is looking for a dynamic educator to start as soon as possible, with the role being full-time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Support students in developing practical cooking and food preparation skills
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Food Technology curriculum
- Maintain a high standard of classroom management and health and safety procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ideas for improving student outcomes
Essential Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
- Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and practical experience in food preparation
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for inspiring young people and supporting their educational development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
- A proactive approach to improving student outcomes and fostering creativity
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
