Job Description
  • Food & Beverage Strategy and Menu Development: Ensure the menu evolves to meet customer needs, identifying opportunities to boost sales and profitability.
  • Food & Beverage Trends: Stay informed on emerging food trends and be ready to introduce them when the timing is right.
  • Customer-Driven Range Development: Utilize customer insights to refresh key product ranges, maintaining excitement and interest in the menu.
  • New Product Introductions and Limited Time Offers (LTOs): Develop new items and LTOs in line with brand standards and local market demands, ensuring timely seasonal launches for approval.
  • Critical Path Management: Ensure products are available on time for their launch, adhering to timelines.
  • Product Development Approval: Collaborate with the Food QA & Technical Manager and RBI to gain concept approval, ensuring necessary operational guides, equipment, and product details are ready for launch.
  • Supplier Management: Work with the Head of Procurement to engage new suppliers, localize the supply chain, expand the range with approved suppliers, and identify new supplier opportunities.
  • Post-Launch Review: Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to review product launches, assess success, and capture key learnings for future development.
  • Marketing Support: Assist marketing with product photo shoots, ingredient management, and preparation of product guides.
  • Menu Approval for Digital Assets: Work with marketing to ensure digital menu assets, including calories and product descriptions, are accurate for delivery partners.
  • Consumer Panels and Ingredient Trials: Conduct consumer testing and ingredient trials to gather data and support product launch decisions.
The Successful Applicant
  • Extensive experience in food development
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality or food service sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and ambitious attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work within time constraints
  • Hands-on experience in a multi-site operational environment
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and expand skills in new categories
  • Valid full driving license
