English Teacher | KS3, KS4 to GCSE

We are looking for an experienced KS3 and KS4 English teacher with GCSE experience. You will have high levels of engagement and innovative practices and identify and support the implementation of cross-curricular opportunities specifically around subject areas, with a key focus on reading.Additionally, you will report on pupil attainment, engagement and progress and contribute to the creation of reports at the end of each term and at the end of each academic year for external stakeholders and governance. All teachers are expected to monitor and support pupil pastoral wellbeing and it is expected that most teachers will also lead a tutor group.
You will be a qualified and experienced teacher with a strong commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of our school. Previous experience of supporting needs associated with autism and an understanding of the processes involved in EHCP documentation would be beneficial.This position is suitable for ECTs.
