Sales Coordinator

An opportunity for an experienced Sales Coordinator is available with my client. They are a manufacturer and supplier of automation products and are well established with their range of products. To be considered you will have a strong customer service / account management background within an office based or internal sales role.

Sales Coordinator role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Ensures all customer enquiries related to standard automation products are addressed on a timely basis and appropriate details are recorded in accordance with the specified procedure
  • Understand customer requirements related to product type and application, quantity required, required delivery date, delivery method and location
  • Use MRP system to determine if customer requirements may able to be supplied from stock and liaises with production to confirm availability
  • When customer requirements cannot be met from stock, liaises with production to establish lead time
  • Prepares quotes for customers
  • Conducts sales calls with new and/or existing customers.
  • Uses own initiative, looks for solutions, seeks out better ways of doing things

Sales Coordinator requirement: Proven sales / account management / customer service experience

Previous automation, electrical, electronic product experience (beneficial not essential).

Self-motivated, co-operative, has a can-do attitude, demonstrates respect for work colleagues and company, flexible and willing to learn.

Demonstrates pride in performance, produces quality work and shows good attention to detail

Good team player, supports work colleagues, builds positive relationships with others and supports team decisions and other team members

Sales Coordinator package: Salary base of up to £30k

Good on target earnings
