Embedded Travel Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated embedded resource providing support and liaison between travel, mobility, and immigration teams to manage complex relocation cases for a global client.

• Responsible for the approval process for all client travellers, providing advice and input regarding movement restrictions.
• Taking ownership for, and acting as liaison between the Travel, Mobility, and Immigration teams, in the management of complex employee relocation cases
• Conducting risk assessments in advance of employee travel
• Lead on liaison with International SOS to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
• Administrative and logistical support for all travellers
• Employ a range of skills and techniques including networking with external sources to build a detailed intelligence picture regarding threats to business travellers and operations.
• Produce high quality threat assessments, security alerts, management briefings and country risk assessments and security briefings.
• Provide verbal travel security briefings to staff visiting medium and high-risk countries.
• Seek opportunities to develop technical and personal skills by formal learning interventions and work experience.
• Perform other duties, complete additional tasks, and support ad hoc projects as required

• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, or a related discipline
• Previous professional experience of political, travel security and/or operational risk analysis and/or consulting
• A strong customer service focus and ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to be a positive and effective team member.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
